February 2026 Clover Monthly Updates

February’s Clover updates include enhancements across restaurant workflows, reporting, dashboard experience, invoicing, security, and partner tools. Below are the key updates partners should know. Please note projected release dates are subject to change.


Restaurant Vertical

→ Clover Order Ready Signal for Uber Eats Online Orders — Allows merchants to send a ready signal to Uber Eats directly from the Clover device so couriers or customers know when the order is ready. Projected GA: February 26, 2026.

→ Clover Deactivate Integration for Clover – Uber Eats Integrated Merchants — When a merchant’s Clover and Uber Eats integration is reset or no longer in use, Uber Eats can stop listing that restaurant to help avoid cancelled orders. Projected GA: February 26, 2026.

→ Guest Count Report – Multi Location — A new report for Dining merchants that helps track guest counts, average spend, party size, table turns, and trends across multiple locations. Projected full rollout: late March.

→ KDS – Show Alternate Modifier Name — Alternate modifier names from Inventory can now display on KDS, helping kitchens use clearer and more familiar prep language. Projected GA: end of February.


Employee & Customer Management

→ Toll-Free Number Application Update — The application process now includes additional required business information fields, including Business Type, Business Registration Number, and Business Authority. Projected GA: February 11, 2026.


Clover Merchant Reporting & Analytics

→ Tender Types Report for Multi-location Merchants — Multi-location merchants will be able to see tender type insights across all locations, similar to the single-location experience. Projected GA: early March.

→ Updated Single Location Reports — Clover is refreshing the Tender Types, Order Types, and Employee Details reports with improved filtering and a more modern layout. Projected GA: early March.


Merchant Core Experience

→ Web Dashboard – Left Navigation Improvements — Updated dashboard navigation with clearer parent and child location distinctions, plus refreshed visuals and accessibility improvements. Projected rollout: late February.

→ Web Dashboard – Improved Password UI — Standardized password setup, reset, and onboarding experience for a more consistent user journey. Projected rollout: February.

→ Web Dashboard – MFA App for Additional Verification — Authenticator apps will be supported as an additional verification method, helping users complete secure actions without relying only on SMS. Projected rollout: February.

→ Web Dashboard – Password Reset Link Expiration — Password reset links will expire in 15 minutes instead of 30 to improve account security. Projected rollout: February.

→ Clover Managed Security Call Scheduling — Merchants enrolled in Clover Managed Security will be able to schedule a PCI compliance call directly from the dashboard. Projected rollout: February.


Payments & Payment Integration

→ Attachments to Invoices — Merchants can upload up to 3 files per invoice with a total file size of 25MB, giving them a better way to share supporting documents and keep records together. Projected full rollout: late March.

→ Invoice Manager — Updated invoice detail pages with improved UI, newer web components, and enhanced search and sorting options. Projected rollout: late February.

→ Cash Discount – Customer Tender Selection — Gives customers the option to choose whether to pay by cash or card before being asked to present a card. This creates a smoother payment flow for cash discount merchants. Projected rollout: late February.

→ Dynamic Tip Configuration — Compatible devices can switch between tip on screen and tip on paper at the transaction level, giving merchants more flexibility between counter and table environments. Projected rollout: late February.


Billing, Boarding & Partner Tools

→ Automated Offboarding Enhancements — Clover is updating offboarding emails and dashboard messaging to improve clarity and streamline merchant communication during account closure and reactivation events. Projected rollout: late February to early March.

→ Professional Services SaaS Changes — Expands the Services Growth plan to merchants without hardware and supports MCC-based plan trials for targeted promotions. Projected rollout: early March.


Hardware

→ Hardware De-Commercialization — Updated hardware lifecycle guidance outlines end-of-sales and projected end-of-support timelines for older Clover devices. Partners should review affected hardware and plan upgrade conversations where needed.
